The Land Cruiser Prado features a more potent 1KZ 3.0l turbo diesel engine, offering more torque and power over the standard 2.4l. These Land Cruisers are extremely capable and with the extra power make for an excellent all-around vehicle. This Prado is an Active Vacation trim level with extra storage space in the back and a sink and faucet. The rear seats also fold down and panels can be placed to make space for a small mattress. The 1KZ motor which we already know and love now sports an intercooler to support the increase in power. SRS airbags came standard and weren’t even an option before. Other features include electric windows, mirrors, climate control, a power sunroof, factory rain guards, factory side steps, and a full-size spare mounted on the rear hatch. Designed to be much heavier duty than the Surf/4Runner but lighter duty and more affordable than the Land Cruiser 80 Series models.
